Gloria Hander Lyons began her writing career in 1983, writing craft articles featured in magazines, such as Better Homes and Gardens, McCall's, Country Handcrafts and Crafts, with more than 125 articles published. She then channeled 35 years of training and hands-on experience in the areas of art, interior decorating, crafting and event planning into writing cookbooks and creative how-to books. Her titles cover a wide range of topics including decorating your home, cooking, planning theme parties and tea parties, crafting and self-publishing, plus humorous slice-of-life stories. Gloria has had numerous short stories published in Chicken Soup for the Soul and several other anthologies. She has also taught interior decorating and self-publishing classes at her local community college.
