Mick Winter

Mick Winter is an academic researcher and author of books on the Napa Valley, sustainable living, the use of QR Codes, and, most recently, "Cuba for the Misinformed: Facts from the Forbidden Island."

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Arts (Distinction) from the University of Brighton in the UK. He is a contributing author to textbooks from leading academic publishers in Germany and the UK.

Winter lives in California's Napa Valley with his wife Kathryn, their cats Sophie and Truffle, and their not-far-away daughter Joanna.
