Judy Winter is an author/columnist/speaker/photographer and a 2007 Outstanding Alumni of the Michigan State University College of Comm Arts. The author is recipient of a 2019 L'Oreal Paris Women of Worth Honoree for her volunteer work as cofounder of The Eric 'RicStar' Winter Music Therapy Camp at MSU (RicStar's Camp), and a 2019-20 United State of Women (USOW) Ambassador representing Michigan, her home state. Winter is recipient of a 2017 Point of Light Award for Outstanding Volunteerism (George H.W. Bush). She has been a certified therapy dog handler providing emotional support to students in Michigan schools/colleges through Therapy Dogs International for the past decade.
