It has taken me all these years to realize that Science Fiction and Jazz are much the same. You take a simple idea, or a simple melody, and then you twist it, and see where it goes.

Sixteen days too old to be a Baby Boomer, thrown out of hippies for failure to follow dress code, old folkie, graduate of Folk U., make living making electric basses, woodworker for 40 years, raised in Connecticut, moved to North Carolina 1973. Studied lutherie with Dave Sturgill of Piney Creek, NC. Lives in Winston Salem NC.
