Born in Scotland Jill started her career as a television programme maker and DVD producer with the BBC in Glasgow. Transferring to Television Centre in London, Jill specialised in music, arts and entertainment programmes. She was poached by the fledgling Channel 4 and has been freelance ever since, working for all major broadcasters and with the Band Aid Charitable Trust. 'Jill has written articles, reviews and profiles for the Guardian, Telegraph, Glasgow Herald and London Evening Standard, as well as numerous magazines. She is the writer of a blog about moving back to Scotland to look after her demented dad and is working on her first novel. She lives in London.
