Julia Pomeroy

Julia was born in Okinawa and spent her childhood in Africa - Libya and Somalia - where she went to Italian missionary schools. At eleven, her family moved to Rome, Italy. At nineteen, she moved to the States, first to Cambridge, MA, then Washington, DC. She ended up in Manhattan, where she worked as an actor and Italian interpreter; eventually, she went back to college and graduated from Columbia University with a Lit/Writing degree. Fifteen years ago, she and her family moved upstate and opened a restaurant in Chatham, NY - the Blue Plate - which inspired her to write her first two books. Her new thriller, introducing Millie and Pack, is NO SAFE GROUND.
