Mark Pope

Mark Pope is a spiritual teacher and a licensed ordained Unity minister. He began to undergo spiritual awakening in 1971 while facing a life sentence for crimes he did not commit. Prior to this Mark had been incarcerated for seven years in various institutions including a maximum security unit of the Texas Prison system.

In November of 2011 he published, "The Final Prison Break: Adventures and Misadventures in Synchronicity, Grace and Awakening". Mark says, "There are two intentions behind the stories. The first is to offer a merciful perspective: It is not only forgivable to err and fall into temporary periods of contraction, unconsciousness and suffering, it is unavoidable for most. The second is to point, and this pointing carries promise: The spiritual dimension, which is always here and now, can emerge into awareness and change anyone or anything, anywhere anytime. One discovers that what emerges is who and what we are.

He says, "I have dedicated this book to the Unvarnished Truth, even though such Unvarnished Truth may appear distorted in its pages. It is further dedicated to spiritual awakening and its sometimes merciful, sometimes brutal expressions. Apparently this author needed both.

He has presented his work in England, Scotland, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and throughout the United States. He continues to serve where called.
