Tyson Macaulay

Tyson is the Chief Security Officer at Rockport, responsible for product and corporate security with additional responsibilities as VP - Field Engineering. A veteran of the cyber security industry with over 25 years of technical and management experience; Tyson was worked extensively in the areas of network, endpoint and cloud/DC security serving Enterprise and Service Provider markets. Prior to Rockport, Tyson worked in the area of cryptography at ISG and at BAE Systems leading consulting and field engineering in North America. Recent positions include CTO - Telecommunications at Intel and Chief Security Strategist at Fortinet. These roles all involved account strategy, corporate development (M&A, partnerships), thought leadership and media.

Tyson has been a security researcher and lecturer since the beginning of his career with a personal syllabus of four books, dozens of periodical publications and international standards contributions, and two registered patents in security. Tyson continues to support the development of engineering and security standards through the International Standards Organization (ISO) and Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
