Casey Rand

Casey Rand is a linguist from Montreal, Quebec, where she was raised by a family of retired jewel thieves. Her writing has appeared in weekly emails to her mother, letters to the editors of now-defunct publications, and the second bathroom stall of The Brass, a white trash bar in Kingston, Ontario. A previous venture involving writing online dating profiles for men with no communications skills failed miserably when she was booted from the internet by the Match.com authorities.

Currently, Casey resides in Brooklyn, where she works as a creative advertising person, blowing people away with her ability to ruin the environment with glossy printer paper that ultimately winds up in the trash.
