Nathan Harter

Nathan Harter taught leadership from 1989 to 2025 -- 22 years at Purdue University's College of Technology and the remainder as a Full Professor in Leadership Studies at Christopher Newport University. Presently retired, he continues to write and see his grandchildren.

Leadership and Coherence, a publication from Routledge Taylor & Francis Group, has been selected as one of three books to receive an honorable mention award as part of the 2015 Department of Leadership Studies Outstanding Leadership Book Award. Specifically, the book was recognized for its innovation with new perspectives. The award was presented at the International Leadership Association Conference in Barcelona, Spain.
