The Sleep Accusations, which received the Blue Lynx Poetry Prize at Eastern Washington University, is currently available through Carnegie Mellon University Press.
Las Delaciones del Sueno, translated by Antonio Saborit and with an Introduction by Adam Zagajewski, is published in a bi-lingual edition by the Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa, Mexico.
Fiction:
His novella, Petals, (under the heteronym Ellis Reece) received the Quarterly West Prize in the novella.
A revised version, No Evil Is Wide, is available through Madville Publishing.

He is also the editor of The Weight of Addition (Mutabilis Press), an anthology of Texas poetry.
He has received numerous awards and grants for his work, including the Chelsea award for poetry, several grants from the Houston Arts Alliance (formerly the Cultural Arts Council of Houston), and an InPrint award (from the University of Houston).
His poems have appeared in various journals, including Chelsea, Shenandoah, The Georgia Review, Literal, The New Criterion, North American Review, Portland Review, Tampa Review, Texas Review, Western Humanities Review, as well as several anthologies, including Far Out: Poems of the 60’s, The Southern Poetry Anthology Vol. VIII Texas, and Improbable Worlds: An Anthology of Texas and Louisiana Poets.
He is also a former Managing and Art Editor of Gulf Coast, has been a Guest Editor for Artlies, and has published numerous art and book reviews over the years ranging from Peter Saul and Robert Rauschenberg to Jacquie Parker.
