Jim McKinley

Jim McKinley is Professor of Applied Linguistics at University College London, in the IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society. Originally from the US, he has taught in higher education in the UK, Japan, Australia, and Uganda, as well as in US schools. His research targets implications of globalisation for L2 writing and the teaching-research nexus in and internationalisation of higher education, particularly English medium instruction. He has published in journals such as the Journal of Second Language Writing, Applied Linguistics, Language Teaching, Higher Education, Studies in Higher Education, System, TESOL Quarterly, and RELC Journal.
