I came to New York for a weekend in April of 1970 and am still here! New York is where I began to train in Chinese Internal Martial Arts, eventually becoming a teacher, and in 1979 opened my school, The Wu Tang Physical Culture Association. "The City" is also where I began to write poetry, short stories, martial arts magazine articles, Celtic Taoism and eventually training manuals. I do get out of town, for over 20 years I’ve taught workshops in Europe and studied with Grandmasters in China side-by-side with my partner, Tina Chunna Zhang.
