Doris E. Dempsey

Doris E. Dempsey has been an educator since 1969, and is a resident of Denver, Colorado. Her teaching experience has spanned many levels – elementary to college. She won the teacher of the year award, and extended her expertise to other educators by presenting classroom management staff development workshops throughout the country, and providing teacher-coaching services for school districts in the Denver Metro area. Her success with students from all backgrounds led to the writing of her book, Classroom Discipline Made Easy: A System That Works for the Inner City or Any City, which is used by teachers throughout the country and as a required text and resource at the university level. Doris has become a much-lauded presenter on achieving excellent classroom management, and has been featured in NEA Journal and AMLE publications.
