Mahendra J. Dave

Dr Mahendra Dave is a physician by profession. After completing his High School at Allidina Visram High School in Mombasa, Kenya, he did his undergraduate studies at Elphinstone College, Mumbai and trained in medicine at TNMC, Mumbai; followed by psychiatric training in England at Liverpool, and in USA at SUNY Upstate Medical University. He has specialized in psychiatric medicine, and is a Distinguished Fellow of APA. He was one of the first to achieve Kenya’s highest honors in Scouting, Kenya’s Lion Scout. He has been an avid scouter in USA, and has been the recipient of Scouting’s District Award of Merit, and Distinguished Commissioner Award, among many other scouting honors.

He has been published in several distinguished professional journals, and is the lead author of the following books:
