Peter B. Cotton

Peter Cotton is a retired Professor of Medicine living on Dewees Island, SC. He is known throughout the world for his expertise, innovation, research and teaching in the use of GI endoscopy procedures. Now he enjoys writing award-winning books for young children about Fred the friendly snake. In 2012 he published his memoirs, "The tunnel at the end of the light; my endoscopic journey in six decades” and has just published the sequel “Reflections: after leaving the Tunnel.”
