Susan Klein

Susan Klein, CNM, was inspired in the early 1990’s to create a tool that would enable midwives, regardless of their educational background or country of origin, to exercise independent judgment and to make the best possible decisions at each birth. "A Book for Midwives: Care for Pregnancy, Birth and Women’s Health," published in 1995, was the result.

Susan Klein died before the book's completion and Suellen Miller, CNM, MPH, took over as Medical Editor. "A Book for Midwives" represents the best of Susan Klein’s passion for maternal health.
