Kathy Ide

Kathy Ide is the author of "Proofreading Secrets of Best-Selling Authors," "Editing Secrets of Best-Selling Authors," and the "Capitalization Dictionary." She is also the editor/compiler of the Fiction Lover's Devotional series. She has written numerous articles, short stories, devotionals, play scripts, and Sunday school curriculum.

She is a professional freelance editor, working with aspiring, new, and experienced authors as well as publishers. She has also edited screenplays for Pinnacle Peak/PureFlix.

Kathy was the director of the Mount Hermon and SoCal Christian writers' conferences for four years. She also directed Christian writers' retreats at Mount Hermon and in Southern California.

She is owner of the Christian Editors Association, parent organization to The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network, Christian Editor Connection, The PEN Institute, and the PENCON editors' conference. CEA sponsors the Editors' Choice Award.
