T. J. Martini

TJ Martini was born in Santa Monica, California. She moved to Reno, Nevada in 1958 with her father, Joe Martini, an entertainer, and mother, Genie an artist and homemaker, along with her siblings. Credited with a number of magazine and newspaper articles, as well as ad copy, poems, and lyrics, TJ has been writing most of her adult life, and has found her niche in Christian writings. She has written 12 books to date: "Wings of Pride, The Story of Reno Air and It's People" (2001) A full color, tabletop history book on the now defunct airline. "Joe's Bible – A Teen’s Journey to Salvation"(2003), "Blue Side Up - An Angel Among Us" (2005), "Standing on the Edge of Eternity" (2005), "Dancing With The Scars - True Stories of Hope Restored" (2011), “I Never Thought I Would Beg My Husband to go to a Strip Club” (2014) “Even If - The Story of Reverend George Mayes, Jr.” (2015) “Dancing With the Scars 2 - Out of Ashes Hope Arises” (2016). “Spending Time - Where Fear and Faith Collide” (2021) and two full-color illustrated children's book; Christmas Lost & Found -the story of how Santa helped God bring back Christmas- and Woody - the story of a little tree that stood where no one else had ever stood. (2022). Her newest book "Rescued and Redeemed" - the true story of a young girl tormented and tortured by demons for over six years, and how God rescued her; will be released in early 2023.

TJ has been a devout Christian for more than twenty five years and is passionately determined to do God's work and help others to know who Jesus Christ is and what He did for all of us. TJ also has a line of Christian encouragement cards called Bathed in His Glory. TJ makes her home in Reno, Nevada, with her husband Gary. She has 24 grandchildren and (at last count) 23 great grandchildren.

TJ is available for public speaking engagements where she is able to share with others what her life was like before Christ, and the pain and suffering she endured during that time, mostly because of poor choices. She wants to be able to encourage others who have experienced similar circumstances and to let them know there is hope for them, too.
