Diagnosed with ASD and the next year hEDS. That was just a few years ago. I am 70. It’s good to see psychedelics in the clinicals after all these years. They are not a panacea, but can save lives when used appropriately. I was 15 years old, crippled with migraines. Today we know that it was caused from the fluorescent lights and stress overload with having ASD. Those with hEDS can be crippled with migraines. The doctors at that time had me on oxycodone, propoxyphene and other powerful medications. I was just a young man, with my life ahead of me, then taking powerful medications and I still had the migraine. Low dose LSD saved my life and prevented me from lifelong pain killing medications. I am not an advocate of anyone taking drugs. This is a risk/benefit determination that is made between you and your practitioner. We are all waiting for more clinical trials to determine efficacy. Let’s hope that with the new legislation, we will see more studies on the benefits of these medications.
