Morry Sofer

Morry Sofer is the pen name of Mordecai Schreiber, author of over 50 books on linguistic and Judaic topics. His book The Translator's Handbook, now in its 8th edition and retitled The Global Translator's Handbook, is used by translators worldwide.

He is the editor of the Shengold Jewish Encyclopedia, now in its 18th edition. He is the founder of Schreiber Translations (STI), a leader in the field of translation in all languages. He is also a biblical scholar and author of The Man Who Knew God: Decoding Jeremiah, and the forthcoming (May 2013) Hearing the Voice of God: In Search of Prophecy.
