Jerry Amernic is an author of fiction and non-fiction books. He has been a columnist and correspondent for daily newspapers, and is a contributor to magazines, journals and websites. His latest book is SLEEPWOKING, which has been called "a sharp-edged takedown of the contemporary fallacies about history that plaque Canada." In this book he explores historical revisionism in Canada and all the fallout associated with it as he gets into the true historical record of such figures as John A. Macdonald, Egerton Ryerson, Henry Dundas, and others. Jerry is the author of the novels The Last Witness. QUMRAN, and Gift of the Bambino. His other non-fiction books include the Julian Fantino memoir DUTY - The Life of a Cop, BABE RUTH - A Superstar's Legacy, and Victims: The Orphans of Justice.
