David Teems is the best-selling author of MAJESTIE: The King Behind the King James Bible (Thomas Nelson/Harper Collins, 2010) and TYNDALE: The Man Who Gave God An English Voice (Thomas Nelson/Harper Collins, 2012). His latest release (October 27, 2020), I Ridde My Soule of Thee at Laste, is historical fiction. A novella at 42k words, this book imagines Shakespeare's final days which include a secret commission by James I to be the last editorial filter of his new bible and a plot by Ben Jonson and Robert Cecil to end the life of the Poet (as Shakespeare is called in the book). October 27.

David and his wife, Benita, live in Franklin, Tennessee near their two sons Adam and Shad, and their wives Katie and Robin. David and Benita have five grandchildren, four of which love to read, a fifth one who likes the pictures.
