ISABEL THOMAS is an award-winning science writer, presenter and educator. She has written a galaxy of books for young audiences, including Moth: An Evolution Story and the bestselling Bedtime Book of Impossible Questions series. Her awards include the UKLA Information Book Prize 2026, the SLA Readers' Choice Award 2026, and the AAAS Prize for Excellence in Science Books 2023 and 2020. Isabel also writes for science magazines and BBC Bitesize, teaches secondary chemistry and physics, and supports outreach projects for a wide range of organisations, inspiring children from diverse backgrounds to pursue science.
