Ann Dee Ellis

Ann Dee Ellis writes novels for young readers. Known for writing with humor, heart and complexity, her novels have appeared on several lists including ALA Best Books for Young Readers, Best Books for Reluctant Readers, IRA book list, Junior Library Guild picks, etc. She is an adjunct professor of creative writing, enjoys hiking in the craggy canyons in her backyard, and one time won a dance contest at a Bean Festival.
