Brianda Domecq

Brianda Domecq (1942 NYC) moved to Mexico at age 9 and began writing in Spanish (2 novels, 2 books of short stories, 1 collection of essays, 1 cocktail travel book on the Rio Grande, 1 brief autobiography, 1 anthology on virginity in Mexican literature, 1 anthology on women's writing in Mexico), moved to Spain in 2001 and presently lives in France. Since 2009 has been publishing a blog in English called Writing a Life (http://writingalife.com). The two novels and a collection of her short stories have been translated into English.
