REVIEWS of his Books: "Puskas tackles one of the most intractable interpretive problems in the Bible. He draws from his deep knowledge of both testaments to demonstrate the pervasiveness of the 'hardness of heart' theme...He casts his net wide, examining rabbinic teachers, church fathers, Reformation theologians, and modern thinkers. His evenhandedness and erudite scholarship make this an eye-opening journey into these difficult 'problem passaes.'" -- David Penchansky, University of St. Thomas on Puskas, Hardness of Heart in Biblical Literature.

"The book fills a lacuna in Johannine scholarship" --- Joerg Frey, Univ. of Zurich

"Well-documented and offering a probing critical framework" -- Harold Attridge, Yale Divinity School. "The authors have generated a substantive and compelling volume" --Christopher Skinner, Loyola University, Chicago on Puskas and Robbins, Conceptual Worlds of the Fourth Gospel (2021)

“Extraordinarily clear, graciously concise, and superbly competent”-- Gene L. Green, Trinity International University on Puskas, Heb, Gen Let. & Rev (2016).

“Deftly facing the challenges to a discriminating study of the Gospels, they deal with the problems in a fair-minded manner, providing readers with the scholarly information necessary to make their own decisions.”-- Charles W. Hedrick on Puskas and

Crump, Gospels and Acts (2008).

“It is an excellent resource ...for colleges and seminaries.  Students with no previous foundation in academic study...will find this book especially valuable”-- Robert Van Voorst on Puskas and Crump, Gospels and Acts.

“What a gift to college and seminary teachers” --Paul R. Hinlicky on Puskas & Reasoner,  Letters of Paul (2013).

“They provide abundant background and reference information, review of scholars’ various interpretations, make careful and

balanced judgments and offer detailed and clear explanations of why they opt for a given understanding .  As is appropriate, their readers are allowed to draw their own conclusions” Robert F. O’Toole on Puskas and Reasoner, Letters of Paul (2013).

“The author of this work has undertaken a formidable task and accomplished it in a masterful and quite balanced fashion,

with a firm grasp of scholarly integrity” Frederick W. Danker on Puskas, Intro to the NT (1st ed).
