Robert Y. Kline

Born in suburban Philadelphia many years ago.

Earned my BS degree in Marketing from PMC College (night school) in 1964.

Retired from 3M Company in 1993 after 30 year career mostly in International Marketing.

Married with 4 wonderful kids, 8 wonderful grandkids and 1 wonderful great-grandkid.

It was upon my retirement from 3M Company that my twin careers of writing and Internet sales took shape.

The writing bug bit me during extended international trips and long plane rides during which I read the novels of my favorite authors as fast as they published them. Since I had the time and the motivation, I decided to try it myself and soon sold two novels to two large publishing houses. I was hooked.

The internet sales business is more the result of a hobby going viral than a planned career move. What started as a fun project on a wood lathe making bowls and gavels for friends and neighbors gradually escalated into a successful online sales business that, as of today, boasts over 10,000 satisfied customers.

So today, deeply into geezerhood, I find myself contentedly woodworking and writing and marketing and wondering what it would be like to actually retire. And, to tell the truth, I'm not anxious to find out.

Finally, anyone who thinks that success in woodworking sales and e-book sales is the result of a high degree of organizational aptitude need only study my two work locations to dispel themselves of that conclusion. The cluttered desk is on a four season porch at the rear of my town house. The cluttered workshop is in the walkout level. I am eternally thankful to my wife, Barbara, for putting up with them.

Thanks for dropping in!
