Paul Nicholas Mason

Born 1958 in London, England, Paul Nicholas Mason lived as a child in Zimbabwe (then called Rhodesia), in Burnaby, B.C., and in several small towns in central Ontario.

Paul’s novels, Battered Soles (nominated for the Stephen Leacock award for Humor) and The Red Dress (long-listed for the 2009 ReLit award), were published in 2005 and 2008 respectively by Turnstone Press of Winnipeg. His third novel, The Night Drummer, was published in early 2015 by Vancouver’s Now or Never; that publisher also brought out Mr Mason's first children's book, A Pug Called Poppy, in 2017, and will publish Paul's first thriller, The Rogue Wave, in April of 2021.

Mr Mason's collection of stories, Jim’s Star & Other Christmas Stories (House Nash Press), was published in the latter part of 2015. House Nash Press has just released Ancient White Magic: A Guide for Witches and Wizards.

Paul describes himself as a liberal Christian and a family man.
