Carolyn E. C. Paris

Carrie Paris was a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell from 1989 through 1998, where her practice involved financial transactions, including leveraged buyouts, high yield offerings, sovereign debt restructurings, securitizations, bankruptcies and workouts on behalf of issuers as well as financial institutions. She also served as Chair of the Lawyers Training Committee and subsequently as Director of Practice Information and Professional Development. She is the author of How to Draft for Corporate Finance, published by the Practising Law Institute, as well as co-author of Operational Due Diligence in Due Diligence for Global Deal Making, edited by Arthur H. Rosenbloom (Bloomberg 2002), and Selecting a Bankruptcy Remote Entity in New York and Delaware Business Entities, edited by Arthur Norman Field and Morton Moskin (West 1997). Ms. Paris has a JD from Stanford Law School (1978), an MBA from Columbia Business School (2001), and a PhD from The London School of Economics (2012).
