That's me in four words. But of course, there's more.

I’ve spent my life chasing a good story and along the way I’ve written plenty of them.

As a marketing professional, I’ve told those stories via innovative marketing initiatives and exquisite events for the world’s most prestigious companies, including Condé Nast’s Bon Appétit magazine, LVMH’s Chandon California winery and Wilson Daniels, where I represented Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Salon and Kumeu River among others.

As a cook, I’ve told stories via more than a dozen food- and wine-focused books, including the Cakebread Cellars Cookbook, Summer Smoothies, Super Burgers, and the Big Ranch Farms cookbook such publishing giants as Chronicle Books, Random House’s Ten Speed Press and Hang Time Press. 

And as a creative person, I’ve built up an arsenal of stories about my life, including teaching my son to ride a bike, living in Japan, receiving a patent for a kitchen gadget I invented; winning the pitch contest at the 2013 Napa Valley Film Festival (in a field of 10, many of whom were seasoned filmmakers!); and finishing a novel that will be published in early 2018.

When I’m not on the prowl for a story, I can usually be found in the kitchen developing new cocktail recipes, on the patio reading a good book, or with my husband and son at the cabin, a family property I inherited in the backwoods of Mendocino.
