Teva Scheer spent 30 years working as a human resources manager before retiring and earning her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in Denver. Since graduating, she has written three books of nonfiction. She has taught classes both at the University of Victoria and the University of Colorado at Denver. Teva's first book was "Governor Lady," the biography of the first woman to be elected a state governor. Her second book is "Our Daily Bread: German Village Life, 1500-1850." "Our Daily Bread" was written for the thousands of genealogists who want to know more about their German ancestors' village, family, and work lives. Similarly, "The Harp and the Hand" was written for genealogists with Irish roots who want to know more about their ancestors' history and experiences during their generations on the Emerald Isle.
