We are Deborah Shelley, the writing team of Shelley Mosley and Deborah Mazoyer, and we write romantic comedies. We look nothing alike--Shelley is an Amazonic 5'10" and Deb is a good eight inches shorter--yet people still confuse us. (Thus our joint nickname, "Shebbie.") However, we are alike in other ways. We adore our families, love to travel, and count reading as one of our favorite things to do. We're fans of chocolate and movies and all things Disney. Both of us have opinionated cats that park themselves on our keyboards when they've decided we've written long enough.
We first collaborated on a benchmarking report for city government, and soon discovered that, as much as we didn't like benchmarking, we loved writing together. Our first book, Talk about Love, was a Holt Medallion Finalist. "Falling for You," our Purim story in the anthology Romancing the Holidays (a finalist for the IPPY), was featured in Booklist's "Spotlight on Multicultural Romance." Marriage 101 is a BookPage Notable Title, and has also been published in large type. Our romances have been translated into Danish, French, Dutch, Norwegian, Russian, and Portuguese.
