Johnny Diaz

Johnny Diaz is a breaking news reporter at The New York Times. Prior to that, he was a viral and features reporter at the South Florida Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale. He's also a former media reporter for The Boston Globe's Business section and a features writer for The Globe's Living/Arts section. He started his career as a 16-year-old high school intern for his hometown newspaper, The Miami Herald where he was a Metro reporter in Broward county.

Johnny is the author of Boston Boys Club, Miami Manhunt, Beantown Cubans, Take the Lead, Looking for Providence and Six Neckties.

When he's not writing, he's running in Central Park in New York or in Miami and sketching dogs that he loves.
