Thomas Falconer

Tom Falconer bought his first C2 Corvette in 1971 and has owned and driven Corvettes without a break for forty years. His first 1966 was bought while studying architecture at Newcastle University, England where he started Claremont Corvette in 1977, specialising in parts, servicing, sales and restoration, moving to the Corvette Centre in Snodland, Kent, England in 1986.

Repairing, servicing, selling, restoring and road-testing Corvettes daily gives him a unique insight and experience as a Corvette author. He has written ten books on the Corvette and is a columnist for magazines on both sides of the Atlantic. He is also a keen photographer with an archive of American car pictures.

His current Corvette is still the 1964 convertible restored by Claremont in 2003, and he has returned to his hot-rodding roots with a road-registered 1929 Ford based open wheel Sprint Car -the Falconer Olds DOHC special. Tom is now semi-retired, concentrating on his online Corvette parts and books sales business at www.corvette.co.uk
