Born in Dallas, raised in Oklahoma, lived in Arkansas, Michigan, Kansas, and Italy. Traveled in Russia and India and many places in the crazy, beautiful US.
Educated in English literature and City Planning. Eavesdropped on an MBA.
Worked as a spinach canner, stencil painter, math tutor, switchboard operator, English comp teacher, hotel maid, shirt ironer, economic development planner, newspaper advertising layout assistant, and technical writer. Volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters (highly recommended).
Best day of my life: when I was six and we got the swingset for the back yard. Many ties for close second all involving great love for spouse. Moments with dog and cats somewhere off the charts of goodness.
