Noah Brosch

Noah Brosch was born in Romania and moved to Israel with his parents in 1963. He completed BSc and MSc studies at Tel Aviv University, and in 1983 was granted a PhD by Leiden University in the Netherlands. He served more than a decade as Director of the Wise Observatory of Tel Aviv University. His research encompasses astronomical objects from comets and asteroids in our Solar System to Galaxies. From 2009 to 2012 he was Vice-President of IAU's Division XI (Space and High energy Astrophysics).
