Dr. Amiram Elwork teaches people and organizations how to improve their performance by becoming more emotionally intelligent. He was born in Israel to Russian immigrants and lived in Brazil for a few years, before coming to the United States as a preteen.
He has devoted much of his career as a psychologist, consultant, and educator to exploring how psychological principles can be used to improve the effectiveness of our legal system and the people who work within it. For example, one of his books, “Stress Management for Lawyers” (3rd edition), has been called “essential for every lawyer in the country” and “a standard in the area of lawyer stress.”
Most recently, he has turned his full attention to an age-old question that is at the heart of why he became a psychologist in the first place: Why is it that some of us are so much better than others at taking on life’s major challenges and overcoming them? A significant part of the answer to this question can be found in his most recent book, “Feel Think Prosper: Become Emotionally Intelligent And Better At Everything.” One prominent psychologist has described this book’s lessons as “profound and life altering.”
