Derek Maul

AMY-Award winning news columnist Derek Maul loves life with a passion and is committed to sharing his joy with others. His eight books offer inspiration, encouragement, and unique insight into the spiritual journey.

Derek's writing has been featured in The Tampa Tribune, Newsweek, USA Today, Guideposts Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul, The Christian Science Monitor, Presbyterians Today and The Presbyterian Outlook - as well as many international devotional publications. He also writes for several on-line venues. Derek won his "AMY" for faith-based journalism, and is in demand as a conference leader and keynote speaker.

Derek lives in Tarboro, NC, with his awesome wife, Rebekah. Their son, Andrew, lives internationally with his bride, Alicia and their son; daughter Naomi lives in Florida along with her three children. The Mauls share their empty nest with a huge Golden Retriever named Max.
