Maureen Passmore earned her MFA in poetry from Bowling Green State University , where she was awarded two Devine fellowships and the University's Distinguished Master's Thesis Award. Her poems have appeared in Sycamore Review, The Florida Review, Packingtown Review, in the anthology The Next of Us Is About to Be Born, and have won the Mississippi Review Poetry Prize. Her chapbook, Stranger Truths, was published by Kent State University Press. She lives with her two children and pays the bills as a biomedical science writer.
