Peter Ronayne

Peter Ronayne is a leadership development and executive education professional currently serving as a senior faculty member at The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Before joining CCL, Pete spent 15 years as a dean and senior faculty member at the Federal Executive Institute (FEI) in Charlottesville, Virginia.

With eclectic and mildly distracted interests, Pete works in the areas of resilience, neuroleadership, global leaderhship, and surviving toxicity at work. A pioneer in the field of learning experientials and expeditions, he has created innovative learning experiences with diverse partners including The American Shakespeare Center, The US Holocaust Museum, Mountain Shepherd Wildnerness Survival School, Shenandoah National Park, The San Diego Zoo, and the University of Virginia Art Museum.

Pete is an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia, The American Military University, and Mary Baldwin University where he offers a wide range of graduate and undergraduate level online courses in leadership and organizational development as well as in international relations and foreign policy.

He has served as consulting faculty to the Redford Center in Sundance Utah, the Richardson Center in New Mexico, and the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. He holds a BA from Georgetown University (Hoya Saxa!) and is proud member of Wahoo Nation, receiving his Ph.D. in International Affairs from the University of Virginia.
