Doug Menuez

Doug Menuez is an American photographer (b.1957) whose career over 30 years has ranged from photojournalism to commissioned work, fine art documentary projects and film. His main concern in all his work is to capture and reflect the human experience. Quitting his blues band in 1981, he began he began his freelancing in 1981 for Time, LIFE, Newsweek, Fortune, the New York Times Magazine and many other publications. Menuez stood at the North Pole, crossed the Sahara, had tea with Svetlana Stalin and held a chunk of Einstein's brain. He's published four books and won numerous awards. His extensive archive of over one million images was acquired by Stanford University Libraries in 2004. His new book "Fearless Genius: The Digital Revolution in Silicon Valley 1985-2000" from Atria Books is now traveling worldwide as a fine art exhibition of Silicon Valley’s greatest innovators, including Steve Jobs, behind-the-scenes as they changed our world.
