Robert Barner

Dr. Robert Barner's nine books have been translated into Mandarin Chinese, German, Norwegian, Estonian, and Farsi for distribution throughout North America, Europe, Scandinavia, Mainland China, India, and the mid-East.

Dr. Robert Barner is an executive coach and talent management consultant, who also serves as as an adjunct professor with Southern Methodist University's Cox Business School. From 2003 to 2019 he served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Services within Southern Methodist University's Graduate Program of Dispute Resolution & Conflict Management, where he managed the university's certificate program in executive coaching.

Dr. Barner has over thirty-five years of applied experience within the field of organization and leadership development. As a senior OD/LD executive, Dr. Barner has directed high-potential development and leadership coaching programs for organizations in such sectors as manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, biotech, media, franchising, and hospitality.

Over the past twenty years Dr. Barner has presented to several international conferences on the subjects of leadership development and executive coaching. In addition, he has been a contributor to several academic and business texts, and has published more than thirty articles within academic and professional journals. Dr. Barner also currently serves as a reviewer for several academic journals. He received his PhD in Organizational Development from Fielding Graduate University.
