J. Wayne Pratt

J. Wayne Pratt is a retired United Methodist pastor presently living in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree (1985) from the State University of New York/College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University and a Master of Theological Studies (Magna cum laude, 2008) from Drew University. He is the author of Sanctuary: Prayers from the Garden (PleasantWord, 2003) and Wedding Services, a volume in the Just in Time! series (Abingdon Press, 2008), and Worship in the Garden (Abingdon Press, 2013). Feature articles, “The Garden as Sacred Space” (vol. 38, no. 10, December 2011/January 2012) and “Designing Sacred Outdoor Space” (vol. 39, no. 1, February 2012) appeared in Ministry & Liturgy magazine. He has also been a contributor to the Abingdon Worship Annual series.
