David L. Russell

David L Russell is a Professional Engineer with over 40 years of technical experience. He is well traveled and highly experienced in all phases of solving environmental and other contamination problems. He has served as a technical expert, designer, international lecturer, and teacher for such diverse organizations as NATO Advanced Scientific Institute, American Society of Chemical Engineer, Haward Middle East Institute, and Saudi Aramco.

He operates Global Environmental Operations, Inc, and has worked in a number of countries, including Germany, Ecuador, Romania, Hungary, Ghana, Ukraine, UAE, Venezuela, Bahrain, India, and Saudi Arabia. In 2003-2004, he served as a principal investigator for a major international project in Ecuador, and in 2007 he was researching the removal of Raidum in highly saline mine waters in Poland.

Earlier in his career he worked on such diverse projects as the Love Canal, and Love Canal West (Lathrop, CA), and ChemDyne (Hamilton, OH), and has conducted environmental fraud investigations in 5 different states and 3 USEPA Regions. He has performed wastewater modeling and has modeled various waste and wastewater treatment operations. He has written 3 books on environmental topics, including Practical Wastewater Treatment, Remediation of Petroleum Contaminated Sites, and Remediation Handbook. Additionally, he has written over 30 technical papers on a variety of environmental and technical topics.
