Russ Olsen

Russ Olsen has been writing professionally for 18 years, mostly about building software, debugging software and managing software projects. Russ has also written extensively on how to avoid the creeping insanity that comes from trying to get the computer to do what it's supposed to do.

Russ is the author of three technical books: Eloquent Ruby, Design Patterns in Ruby and Getting Clojure. Russ is also an occasional conference speaker: His To The Moon keynote has brought tears to the eyes of audiences worldwide.

Russ most recent book is the novel Overdrive, A Lighthearted Tale of AI, Flying Cars and Milkshakes.
