Hello. I write, teach, and speak about the place of religion in American history. I am a professor of Religious Studies and History at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

Among my favorite subjects: nineteenth-century Latter-day Saints, post-1945 U.S. evangelicals, and seventeenth-century Separatists.
