Marc Leverette has been the owner and principal photographer of Marc Leverette Photography since 1998. A former academic, he received his MA and PhD from New York University and Rutgers University respectively. He is the author or co-editor of three books on popular culture, a novel, and dozens of essays. His work has been published internationally and translated into Chinese. He has delivered hundreds of lectures and won over 50 international awards in both fields. Born in South Florida in 1978, he currently lives in Northern Colorado with his wife Lehne and their two unruly dogs, and works primarily as a photographer within the music scene. He's right handed and admits he'll probably never read "Catcher in the Rye."
