Jane McLoughlin

Jane McLoughlin is an author and journalist. She went to 11 schools in England and graduated from Trinity College Dublin. She has published 10 psychological thrillers and several non-fiction books associated with her specializations as a journalist on British national newspapers-- women's issues, and industry/politics.

She wrote her first full-length novel at age 13, and has never wanted to do anything else. She went into journalism to learn as much as possible about what makes people tick and how they behave under extreme stress; and because it enabled her to ask searching personal questions not possible in ordinary circumstances. She has covered the Troubles in Northern Ireland, climbed to the Base Camp on Everest, been hi-jacked on an internal flight in Ethiopia, and conversed with many of the most significant and inspirational people in our society over the last thirty years.
