Dee's research interests include Mahayana Buddhism, Asian philosophies, South Asian religions, American Buddhism, psychedelics, altered states of consciousness and gender studies. They also write fiction (The Rebirth of Sudhana Bodhisattva, The Enchanted Woods), and translate Buddhist and Hindu texts.
